Epiphanies Therapy Services
Creating Epiphanies Therapy Services has been a pure transformation of my vision. Since my first experience of therapy, I knew I wanted to pursue Psychology academically and professionally. It is with utmost feeling of contentment that I live this vision every single day. After almost 7 years of working in this field under the guidance of prolific individuals, with great joy, I present my work of labor and experience.
Being a therapist is a position I take very seriously. I believe, that being a mental health professional is like having trustworthy access to scars no one else but you can see to heal. I believe, each individual brings their vulnerable self to therapy, with the hope to heal.
Thank you for that honour and trust, I see you.

FAQs
How many sessions will it take for me to become alright?
Many factors depend on this. While an ideal number could be 8-20 sessions for you to experiencing change, however, it totally depends on the severity of the concern along with your appetite and pace for your self-work.
This my first time in therapy, how do I prep for the sessions?
-
Sit in a space where you will be uninterrupted during the course of the session.
-
You can keep the points to discuss (your reason to seek therapy) ready.
-
Have a steady & strong internet connection.
-
Keep a notebook to make notes during your time in therapy along with any other item (like water, tissue, a soft toy, blanket etc.) that comforts you.
How frequently should I be taking sessions?
Session can be scheduled once a week for effectivity and to maintain the tempo of exploration and reflections. You can pace the frequency to biweekly or monthly sessions gradually as you see yourself making progress.
I don't know where to start, what is your process?
Reaching out and booking an appointment is a start toward personal growth. The first few sessions are ideally dedicated to understanding your history (i.e. of family dynamics and of your presenting concern). Post that we can do goal setting and based on your priority we can choose a goal to start the exploration and insight-building process. Alternatively, if currently what you are dealing with is too intense, we can start to talk about it and explore on the history/background as the need arises. Whatever works for you is a good approach to start with.
Do you prescribe medication?
No I don't prescribe medication as I am not qualified to do so. For psychological concerns, a psychiatrist is the right person to prescribe medication. At any point in therapy if a need arises to seek medication, you can refer to a psychiatrist from your known network or I can refer you if possible.
